The aim of the contest was to highlight through photography:
the rural landscapes and architecture associated with this magnificent crop,old mills with heavy millstones,work,the rites of collection and milling,the color of the oil,the objects that traditionally are related to it,oil and food,festivals and celebrations on the world of oil.

The exhibition with 96 photos resulting from the selection of the competition, was hosted in Florence at the LIMONAIA of PALAZZO MEDICI RICCARDI from 24 November to 8 December 2007 in conjunction with the homonymous event "Oleovagando", to then become itinerant available to the Municipalities protagonists of events, reviews and festivals related to the world of oil.
An opportunity to get to know the production areas, visit the mills and taste the extra virgin olive oil.
