Philippa Lennon’s multi-disciplinary practice involves photography, sculpture, video, painting and performance. Involving a wide range of reoccurring under-towing themes and references, her work seeks as to act as a catharsis of an overflowing mind. In her most recent works she draws on social nuances, tensions, awkwardness, feeling uncomfortable and without control of your own interactions. She questions her experiences such as adolescence, sexuality and memory in a personal and often self-scathing way. She lives and works in Melbourne, and has studied at the Victorian College of Arts.
