A community-driven and inspired writer with an MFA in creative writing and MA in English with focus in creative writing. Sophomore novel, SKIPPED A GENERATION, also purchased by Blackstone Publishing, with a release date set for late 2023. A forthcoming dystopian historical-fiction, mosaic anthology, DESPERATE, NC, co-written with Cadwell Turnbull, Jendayi Brooks-Flemister among several others in the works UNC Chapel Hill Press. Winner of Academy of American Poets University Prize 2020 at NCSU. Varied experience in a wide variety of writing positions at the college-level spanning First-Year Writing, Introduction to Creative Writing, Advanced Fiction Writing Workshop and Advanced Creative Nonfiction.
