I grew up in New York City and spent my free time at the Metropolitan Museum. My favorite pass time was making art, mostly out of paper mâché. I received a BFA at RISD in sculpture, exploring jewelry design, light metals, holloware, ceramics, and other media. Directly following this, I started making large sculptures in colored wax, and exhibited them in Boston, having several shows at Barbara Singer Gallery, and then at Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. This process led me to establish a jewelry design firm called ADB INC. I hand crafted every element, casting them in sterling and gold. My designs were interpretation of natural forms such as flowers and leaves. My clientele were museum gift shops such as The Textile Museum in Washington D.C., The Baltimore Museum of Art, and The Folk Art Museum in NYC, as well as high-end boutiques.
