After graduating high school I spent the next 8 years between travelling the world every second year, and studying and saving every other. My university education included fine art, philosophy, psychology and anthropology. I graduated with Honors in Antropology. My thesis was focused on a cross-cultural study exploring art as a communicative tool that encourages individual wellbeing and social capitol. I discussed the use of art in the Northeast Arnhem Land of Australia, the Yolngu, and its presence in right of passage, passing knowledge, the spirit world and sacred sites. I paralleled the Yolngu arts practice with the western practice of Art Therapy.
